In another move to help unify the timeline, Instagram is today rolling out a new feature that lets users share photos from the timeline in Stories. Not only will you be able to share your own personal photos, you’ll be able to share photos from public accounts directly to your story as a sticker (via The Verge). iCloud Drive was first announced at WWDC. This feature is Apple’s new approach to iCloud file syncing, replacing Documents and Data. The new interface acts more like Dropbox, with one central folder containing all iCloud documents in one place. This gives more flexibility over the model used by iOS 7 and Mavericks, where iCloud documents are siloed within their own app’s containers. Instagram today announced that it’s rolling out two new orientations for photos and videos including portrait and landscape formats to add to the old square photo format that was previously the only option for users uploading content. When users upload an image in the app, they’ll now be able to tap a new icon to get access to the new portrait and landscape orientation options. At WWDC this week, Apple announced that iOS 13 will block developers from accessing data from the “Notes” field of the Contacts app. TechCrunch explains that this is because of a user habit where they store sensitive information in that Notes field.
